Who is a Labiaplasty for?

A labiaplasty is for women who experience pain or discomfort of the external genitalia, increased vaginal infections, birth trauma, labial laxity, vaginal laxity, aesthetic concerns, and dissatisfaction with a previous labiaplasty.

What is a Labiaplasty?

A labiaplasty is a procedure that reduces the size of the labia minora, so it is proportionate to the labia majora. A clitoral hood reduction is a procedure to reduce the excess tissue overlying the clitoris. A perineoplasty reshapes and tightens the area between the vagina and the anus.

There are several techniques used to perform these procedures, especially for the labia minora reduction. No one technique is better for 1 patient. Dr. Neetu K Sodhi will take into consideration your anatomy, concerns, and goals to create a treatment plan customized to you.

Labiaplasty refers to the correction of the female anatomy, including the labia minora, labia majora, clitoral hood, perineum, and vagina.

What to Expect?

You will have an appointment with Dr. Neetu Sodhi to address your concerns, answer your questions, and discuss the procedure and pre- and post-op instructions.

These procedures can be done at an outpatient surgical center, however Dr. Neetu Sodhi has the equipment and resources to complete the procedure in the comfort of her office. Medications will be taken 1 hour before the procedure to help you relax and local anesthetic will be injected in the office to make the experience comfortable for you.

After the procedure, plan for someone to drive you home. Bed rest, including elevating the hips and icing the area, for 3 days after the procedure should be planned for. Many patients report having little to no pain after the procedure and analgesics can be taken as needed.

You will follow up with Dr. Sodhi 2 weeks after the procedure to ensure the area is healing properly and to address any further questions or concerns.

What is the cost?

Each procedure costs $3,500.

However if multiple procedures are required, a 50% discount will be applied to each additional procedure. For instance, if scheduled for a labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction, your cost would be $3,500 + $1,750 = $5,250.
